  • Zuva Gallery, Melrose Arch . Melrose Arch is an urban development favoured by the bling-loving upwardly mobile wealthy status seekers.
  • In Toto Gallery is a new gallery in Birdhaven Tel: 011 447 6543 www.intotogallery.co.za Caters to established art collectors and newcomers to the art scene.
  • Brodie/Stevenson Art Gallery in Braamfontein focuses on contemporary art pieces. www.brodiestevenson.com

  • African Craft Market, Rosebank: open 7 days a week
  • Bryanston Organic Market: Culross Rd Bryanston. 011 706 3671 Thursday and Saturday 9-3. Moonlight Market on the last Tuesday of every month in summer from 5-9 pm. On a beautiful summer highveld evening it's a fabulous thing to do. www.bryanstonorganicmarket.co.za
  • On the Nicol Highway going out north to the Fourways area at the intersection with Main Rd there is a large island where a large roadside informal market has grown. Here you will find large metal sculptures of birds, wood carvings, large beaded animals, along with lattice trellises, varieties of tin baths and buckets, and other more household objects.
