Sushi has only really become popular in Joburg in the last 15 years or so and despite being so far from the sea, we do get some very good fish. While nearly all restaurants will have some fish offering on the menu, there are some which specialize in fish and sushi. Always check though that the fish is on the green list and not on the endangered orange or red list (there is an app you can download that you can use to check). You night not get an entirely accurate answer if you simply ask!
