Enjoy a meal in a peaceful garden setting
A far cry from the current frentic and frenzied Christmas mall culture , there’s a peaceful haven a stone’s throw from Liz at Lancaster. I escaped my own breakfast duties here at the guest house yesterday and had breakfast with a friend in a local lekker little gem of a place: great food well presented, wonderful tranquil ambience, and unobtrusive good service.
Burnsides some 1 km away in Craighall Park is a real find. While I had a delicious croissant with honey roasted ham, emmentaler cheese and glazed roasted onion and tomatoes, Joni had the health breakfast. Beautifully presented it consisted of Greek yoghurt, toasted muesli and the most delicious berry fruit salad. Really good and peaceful escape.
