There are 10 golf courses within a 20 km range of Liz at Lancasters. Most Golf Clubs allow non-members to play on certain days – please check with the club which days are open to non-members as well as rates for a round.

- Randpark Golf Club: comprising two excellent golf course: Randpark 011 215-8600 (Setperk St) and nearby Windsor Park 011 678-9351 (Republic Rd). Randpark was host to the 1995 & 2000 SA Opens

- Houghton Golf Club: 51 2nd Ave Houghton 011728 7337 – a Jack Nicklaus signature course
- Royal Johannesburg & Kensington Golf Club: Fairway Ave Linksfield 011 640-3021.

- Johannesburg Country Club Woodmead: 011 202-1600 Non-members can only play if accompanied by a member. Same as the River Club Golf Course 011 783 1166

SA Golfing provides the service of booking the tee times at the golf courses and transport to and from Liz at Lancaster. Cost of day golf excursion R650, cost includes return transport, booking fees, green fees, golf club hire. The cost excludes caddies, halfway house, golf carts, pull carts or drinks.
